FOXON'S RANDOM5/5 STRAIGHT CONTEST

Foxon sponsors this contest.
It is conducted on the Pastures' Posting Board.

The rules:

Hi Vermonsters,

It's about time I ran a contest at this fine residency, so here it is. Or rather they are. There are two based on the same principal of winning a race numbered 01 - 05 at any track. Here's the rules:

There are 2 contests:

1. Random Five
Each player can nominate one Vermont stable for this contest.
All your nominated stable has to do is win Saturday races numbered 01, 02, 03, 04 and 05 in any order, track unimportant. You can win multiple races each week and any type of race counts.
The first person to complete wins: Random Five

2. Five Straight
Each player can nominate one Vermont stable for this contest. You can use the same stable for both if you wish, but it's not advisable...
I'm sure you've proably guessed by now, but you need to win 5 races in order - 01 followed by 02 through to 05, track unimportant. You can win multiple races each week but they must be in racecard order. So, of you win 8701 and 8802 in the same week, both count. If you win 8702 and 8801 then only 8801 counts. Racecard order only counts for wins in the same week - 8801 in week one and 8702 in week two is fine. The first person to complete wins: Five Straight

Having read Bung's recent contest thread, I'll be happy to check your nominated stable's results each week and post a results thread on the Vermont MB, so all you have to do is nominate your chosen stable(s) and enter your races as normal. Whether you chose to put any thought into actually winning either contest is up to you!

Only one prize per player, so the player winning the first contest is automatically eliminated from the other.

I think that's covered everything. Please post your nominated stables in this thread, noting which contest they are for. Please fire away with any questions if anything is unclear.

We will take stable nominations upto 10am (simtime) on Saturday of next week (April 12th) and scoring starts with next week's races - 3553.
